CHRISTMAS AT THE FARM

Great Year for Christmas Trees

Every year we have a lot of deer on the farm that find the Fraser firs to be a great meal.  Four years ago, when the snow was deep they had several Fraser fir feast.  This has significantly reduced the number of 5-6 foot trees available this year.  We have purchased plenty of 6 to 8 foot Fraser firs from a quality Michigan tree grower.  These high-quality, fresh-cut trees will be set out in our tree fields allowing you to still enjoy a tree hunt and hay wagon ride.  

The Perfect Christmas Tree

When you arrive at the farm, near the information center, you will find a tree school available for your convenience.  At the school you will find every variety of tree we grow with information about each type of tree to help you make your selection.  Once you have determined which type of tree you want, you can catch a wagon to the fields to find that perfect Christmas tree.  All our trees are priced individually in the field.  Saws are available.  Tractor pulled wagon rides are free.

Once you have cut down your tree, our wagons will pick you up with your tree and take you to our processing center where we will shake, bale and drill your tree for no charge.  

We have several varieties of trees for you to select from:

  • Concolor Fir (White Fir)

  • Canaan Fir

  • Blue Spruce

  • White Spruce

  • Sparty Spruce

  • Serbian Spruce

  • Scotch Pine

We also have pre-cut trees available by the information Center for your convenience.

Christmas Shoppe

The gift shop will be open everyday starting November 24th from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

We have a wide variety of Christmas ornaments to help decorate your tree this year including Hazel and Finney the twin plush reindeer.  (Remember Ralphie and Rosie, well, they had twins.)  There are lots of items on sale, so be sure to stop by the Christmas Shoppe while at the farm.

Wreaths

We offer several sizes and greens for wreaths, swags and roping.   We also have kissing balls and grave blankets.  We have a large selection of ribbons and will be happy to decorate your wreath to your specifications.
