The "Celebrate Fall" Arts and Craft Festival!

Saturday and Sunday, October 3rd and 4th, forty talented Artisans will show an sell their wares.  Enjoy interesting demonstrations including chainsaw carving, basket weaving, pottery making, rope making, and blacksmithing.  There will also be a presentation by members of the Michigan Woodcarvers Association.  There will be pumpkins, games, crazy clowns, fabulous face painters, pig races, hayrides, petting zoo, caramel apples, donuts and cider.

Also, on Saturday October 3rd, The "Celebrate Fall" Festival will feature the "2 Feet for 28" Walk/Run to benefit the Special Olympics Michigan Area 28 athletes, (Clinton County).  Registration starts at 9a.m., and the Walk/Run begins at 10 a.m. 

During both days of the "Celebrate Fall" Festival, The Peacock Road Tree Farm staff will throw a Birthday Party for their 150 year old Sprague School, the historic one room schoolhouse that is used as an educational site during school tours of the farm.  School will be in session October 3rd and 4th during the festival, and at snack time…complimentary birthday cake will be served!

Festival Hours:  Saturday, October 3rd, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

                Sunday, October 4th, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Entry to the Peacock Road Tree Farm "Celebrate Fall" Arts and Crafts Festival is $2 per person. Food, drink and miscellaneous activities are offered at an additional charge.

 Pork Chop Downs

Back by popular demand - PIG RACES !!!   Ed has been busy training 20 squealing pot-bellied pigs and 10 feeder pigs.  He uses cookies to get them to run the track.  They like Oreos the best.  Be sure to see the show and cheer on your favorite pig.

Boo Train 

It has always been our tradition from the beginning to offer fall fun for families with young children.  Our Boo Train rides will travel around the farm with no gore, no scares - just giggles and fun!  

          

World of Mazes

Our MAZES may not be the biggest, BUT WE THINK THEY’RE THE MOST FUN!!!  The unique Corny Spruce Maze will offer hide-and-seek fun with games and PRIZES!  There’s even a maze JUST for the LITTLE ONES!

Duke and Prince are big but they are also very gentle.  Belgians are often call the gentle giants of the horse world. 

 Let Duke and Prince take you around the farm in our new covered wagon.    

 

Halloween

This year Halloween falls on a Saturday.  Treat your youngsters to a Spooktacular Halloween Party at The Peacock Road Tree Farm.  There will be trick or treating, a costume contest, a spooky train ride, pumpkin carving, a trip through the corny spruce maze, and a haystack candy hunt!  Bring your ghosts and goblins to the farm for a safe and fun Halloween Adventure!

Time:     10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  Halloween Saturday, October 31st.

TREES FOR TROOPS

 

 

The Peacock Road Tree Farm will be participating in the Trees for Troops program sponsored by the Christmas Spirit Foundation. For a $25 donation, your family or group will be able to provide a freshly-cut Christmas tree to a military family with a personal Christmas greeting attached to the tree. The $25 donation will be sent to the Christmas Spirit Foundation to defray the cost of the Trees for Troops Program.  We are honored to a part of this wonderful program!
